With the ongoing spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, Big Bang Music Center has been continuing to follow and monitor official guidance from Center for Disease Control and State Guidelines to protect our community from getting and spreading COVID-19.
The instructors at Big Bang Music Center have thought carefully and discussed how to proceed with continuing lessons during this difficult time. Our goal is to safeguard everyone’s health, to minimize any risk of our studio contributing to the spread of the coronavirus, to limit any disruption to lessons, and help students stay motivated in their musical learning and journey. Above all, we want to strive to maintain a balanced attitude, fulfill commitments, and continue working as fully and effectively as possible.
As we all know, music lessons are given within close-proximity, and with most people likely to be working from home in the coming weeks, alongside the schools being closed, we are proud to announce that we have started to transition to digital lessons via Skype. The online lessons we have had have gone very smoothly. And to the parents of our younger students: the best part about the kids taking lessons online is that they’ll be occupied and entertained–while the adults get a well-deserved break (lol).
Our store will be open select hours for instrument repairs, retail, amp repair, restrings, rentals, etc. If you need any of these services, please call the store and set up an appointment. If you are interested in signing up for lessons–we would love to welcome new students to our musical family. I have been taking drum lessons with Big Bang Music Center for a little over a year. And now with COVID19, we’ve switched gears and gone to a virtual format. Whether in person or virtually, I find my lessons are thorough and always end with a challenge that I work on until my next lesson. The store is very accommodating with missed lessons, and I’ve had absolutely no trouble making up any lost time. I highly recommend BBM for equipment, rentals, and lessons–both for children and adults–digitally or in-person. Thank you BBM!

Craig & his music center have been an inspiration to my 7yo's passion for drumming. It's easy to see he prides on connecting with students on their terms, motivating their skills past any self-doubt or impatience. My kid couldn't be happier with the weekly lessons, and the center's remote lessons are just as impressive. He really made the dynamics work, from the kit setup to the interactive tools. The toughest part is ending the session!

I highly recommend Big Bang Music for online music lessons. My children have been students for nearly two years and the recent transition to online classes has gone very well. The instructors brought the same intensity and passion for music into my home as what we were accustomed to in Hillsborough. The kids really enjoyed being able to play their instruments in their own "studio" where they normally practice.
