RAYMOND LAU

Raymond has been teaching at Big Bang Music Center over a period of ten years. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and his MM in Piano Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College. He has worked with students of all ages and levels; his approach to teaching combines ear training, music theory, and singing.
NICHOLAS ABRAHAMS
(PIANO)
Self taught musician, Nick Abrahams is no stranger to a challenge. He attended Rutgers University, home of the much renowned and highly selective Mason Gross School of Arts where he honed much of his music theory and composition skills. With more than 15+ years experience playing and 5+ years teaching piano, guitar and bass, his students range from young children to teens and even adults.
In addition teaching musical instruments he also teaches music production. Nick wears his passion for music on his sleeve and will be a great fit for you and your student.

MARY JEWELL
(PIANO, CLARINET, RECORDER, SAXOPHONE, BASSOON, OBOE, FLUTE, TROMBONE)
A high honors graduate from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Music degree. After graduation, Mary continued clarinet studies with the late Kalmen Opperman of New York City, and studied piano at the Settlement School in Philadelphia.
Mary has a great interest in fulfilling the student’s interest, training in all phases of music, including theory as it relates to performance, and promoting a love of music. She has taught music for over 40 years on piano, clarinet, recorder, saxophone , bassoon, oboe, flute, trombone and music theory.
Mary has performed with the Rutgers Collegium Musicum, The Plainfield Symphony, and the Brio Wind Ensemble. She is currently performing on clarinet with the George Krauss Memorial Band, the Central Jersey Wind Ensemble, and on the piano with the Summer-Swing Orchestra.

CHRIS ROLLINGS
(PIANO)
Christopher J. Rollings has been a piano teacher since 1980. He studied at Berklee College of Music and Rutgers University and has performed as a singer/songwriter for the past twenty-eight years. Christopher has also worked as an accompanist, music composer for independent films, and as a church music director. He specializes in levels beginner through advanced in piano with students of all ages.
