Gavin has been playing and studying guitar for over 14 years, and has been teaching music in various forums for over 7 years. Currently active with 2 separate gigging bands, Gavin is a hard working musician who loves his instrument and is serious about music. As a teacher, Gavin is as much a performer as he is on stage. He is always receptive and eager to answer questions, and a fathom of guitar technique and music theory waiting to be tapped by those who wish to learn.
Specializing in high intensity shred and all forms of rock, Gavin is well rounded in many styles and has been known to appear onstage playing Blues, Oldies, Metal, Classic rock, Country, Jazz and Classical pieces as well. His trademark laid-back approach makes him an ideal choice for students that want to have fun and enjoyable learning experience.
